ok, so this blog is sort of a side project from what i normally do. um which is sitting around and goofing off on the internet. i write another daily blog on a totally unrelated subject, post my semi private ramblings in a journal, joke around with a bunch of poster geeks, and play stupid games on facebook. in between all that i change a load of diapers, try to keep my toddler entertained and cook stuff. i cook a lot. it has come to my attention that some people don't know how to cook, and frankly that bums me out. it's really not hard.
i will do my best to keep this thing updated regularly. i usually cook the same stuff every week so in the effort to keep complete strangers entertained i will attempt at least 1 new recipe a week. i'll include tips and tricks when i can and even some photos.
i think that's it. if i think of anything else i guess i can add it some other time.
oh yeah now i remember the rest.
this blog will also be a rough food journal, so i can keep track of what i'm eating/serving and a budget tracker. i'm really trying to keep track of how much we are spending on food and failing. i figure if i post up my shopping receipts that will help. now i just have to keep from losing the receipts. the goal is for a family of 3 to eat each week for less than $75. that is £50 i think. mmmmm, can we do it?
